Barry Keenan really rich?
Was he really that rich? It said in the end that after jail he amassed 17 million from real estate?

He did get rich from real estate after he was released from prison. He did a piece on the radio show/podcast "This American Life" talking about the Sinatra kidnapping and confirmed that he did become a millionaire after prison.
He sold his story to a movie studio, but becuase of the Son of Sam law he wasn't able to profit off the crime itself. He was sued by Sinatra Jr. but he won the lawsuit, but at that time the film wasn't ever made. When Showtime picked up the story he didn't receive anything from that film as well.
