Why Hasn't This Film Seen Distribution???

This film seems to be stuck in limbo and I just don't get it. I understand few films get theatrical distribution, but this film hasn't even been released on DVD, or seen on Cable TV, or anywhere. Every indication from everyone who has seen this film, plus just watching the trailer, says this film will succeed and be quite popular. Why in the hell does it seem to be stuck in a proverbial no man's land? It's like there's some sort of conspiracy that keeps people from watching it, for fear that this little film will resonate with people and portray LA more accurately than Crash, which was shot at the same time? You tell me, because I don't get it.

Snowleopard,
Thank you SOOO much for your passion for Stats. Rest assured this film will have a Distribution home and a LONG LONG life, it just takes TIME to work out the details of who, when and under what circumstances for it to POP. It JUST screened at the Rhode Island Film Fest and was nominated for Best Feature, last years winner was Garden State, so it's in good company from it's First festival showing, keep your eyes peeled on the Stats site for more in the near future.

Well, I don't live in LA. About 1000 miles away, actually.

It's now nearly two years since my original post, and over a year since you wrote yours!

It's like this film is locked in a vault somewhere. Really sad.
