shareShe reprises the role of "Angel Hunter" originally played by Jill St. John in the earlier version as "Barbara Bingham," a cotton candy American starlet who is currently under contract with the studio. In both cases the starlet becomes Paolo's next client after he finally dumps Karen Stone.
She is very pretty but plays a starlet with, I believe, less talent and class than the Karen Stone character, so that the young girl's admiration of the older actress, whom she says she saw when she was a child, isn't actually flattering. Karen's reaction to Angel is haughty and certainly not flattering to her, either. The young woman seems to represent the continuing illusion of worth in outer trappings.
