Anyone else watch this on netflix?

I was so excited when I saw this on Netflix. I haven't seen it since I was a kid.

Just watched it on Netflix. Never watched it before, as when it came out it didn't interest me. But I thought I'd give it a try, especially when I heard that it's almost too adult for a PG film... heh...
some people are such prudes. Like they can't explain to their kid's that a kid got bit by a snake, or these are bad people willing to let kids die, or that a town would support killing a man for kissing a white woman back in the day? Kids have to learn sometime that rattesnakes are dangerous, some people are sociopaths and America has a very racist history including laws that were heinous. Heck, it wasn't legal to marry outside your race federally until 1967.

I initially gave the film a 6/10, but I think it has a little more substance than other 6/10s, so I raised it to a 7. I agree that I had no opinion on the film for the most part, even in the end it seemed too tv original in it's cheeziness.

I'm watching it as we speak. I'm amazed at the historical accuracy.

Just watched it there. Never seen it before, had the misconception that it was a kids film. But it was a tremendously good film!
