I wanted to see it

It's surprising that the Douglas family movie It Runs in the Family was such a flop. I don't even think the movie made at least $5 million.
Well, I wanted to see it when it was out. It looked like an enjoyable movie. I remember Michael Douglas was busy promoting this movie he and his family was proud of on a lot of talk shows, and this movie turned out to be a major flop.

Wonder what went wrong?
Maybe it will do better on video rental.

I remember once, when it first came out, I went to go see a different movie, but there were like, a couple dozen people lined outside of this movie waiting to go in. It was a really long line. It might have been because it was cheap tuesday, or because X-Men 2 was sold out. It looked like a good movie, and maybe it just did better where I live.

there is a movie from the mid 1990's starring charles grodin with the same title, seems alternative title when i saw it recently, i thought i had seen this before but didn't remember it now, maybe i got it confused with "diamonds". them passing firetrucks on the way back from the river was funny.

you let the devil lose,
one day climbed into my world with hoofs,
the curse began,
disasters one after another came,
the devil inside my tribe,
a weak soul let the demon out,
calling on all good force,
to drive the evil out of our home.
