Differences b/t the manga and anime?

I just bought and read all seven volumes of the original FAKE manga, by Sanami Matoh. It is one of the greatest overall comic series I've ever read, and I've read many! I didn't want to stop reading them to eat or sleep! But is the anime good as well?

The anime is based on the first story of the second volume. The anime adds some (unwelcome, in my opinion) elements, but it follows the story pretty closely.
