When the car broke down in the toewn who was watching over the family???

1.) when they were sleeping you could see someone enter their building with a flashlight and flash it around ( you see it through the intruders eyes...)

2.) what was with the sandstorm

3.) when the father and the one guy went up to a hill and the guy ranm in front of the father 2 secs later he vanishes without a tarce as soon as the father gets on the hill all he sees are miles and mils of desert (meaning there was NOTHING) for the kid to hide behind or anything...

Was it a stalker or what?!?!?!?

Good questions. Also, what's with the crow?
I think what the guy at the jail told Jim was as good a guess as any.
It's just one of those movies that leave you wondering!

Its all left up to your imagination. There is no official explanation I think.
