Not sure if anyone knows, or has heard of the new "RIVERWORLD"(2010)4-hr mini-series on SyFi Channel. Premieres Sunday 4/18/2010. I was hoping for a continuation story from the 2003 TV movie...with same characters, different actors/actresses. From the previews, sounds and looks like a new reimaginig/remake story with some of the same characters, and new lead characters and villains. Here's to hoping this Pilot gets picked up as on-going series.

well that sucked. That's 3hrs 45 mins of my life I'll never get back. While the mini-series (Pilot) does reinterprets/reimagines some of the stories of the first "RIVER WORLD" book series, it answer more questions, and leaves less mystery and myth-lore behind this world (in the middle of LIMBO-purgatory). Who were the hooded, death looking figures in the 2003 TV movie? Who is behind the resurrection of human beings and why (for what purpose)? Stay tuned....perhaps this new Pilot (TV movie) may get picked up for a on-going series.....just hope they don't mess it up.
