Hilarious!

This was a very good film! It was fun to watch all the characters manouvre. It reminded me of a play by Molière. I highly recommend it.

the kind of genuine comedy which Hollywood rarely makes. I have never before seen a film capture the confusion and emotional chaos of the fall of France. I had no idea any film could do it, let alone a comedy. The movie kept me on the edge of my seat in a way few movies ever have. Throughout the film one knew that literally anything could happen. In 1940 those French fleeing the Nazis also must have known that literally anything could happen. In both film and reality life remakes itself from one minute to the next.

I can't believe that somebody can find this hilarious, maybe I missed sth?
While I won't deny it is a comedy, I think it plays much more as a war drama... dont you?
Anyway, great film, lovely characters... highly enjoyable french cinema

I'm a big fan of JEAN-PAUL RAPPENEAU, ISABELLE ADJANI, AURORE CLEMENT, GERARD DEPARDIEU, VIRGINIE LEDOYEN and YVAN ATTAL... but to sum it up... I'd say in the end, this film was too vapid to be memorable. Much ado about nothing.

I loved this film as well. The actors really brought it together though. There was some excellent casting done here.
