How did they father figure out where Ryu's apartment was? Or even that he needed to go there?
In the scene where the father set a trap for Ryu, where was that and why did Ryu go there?
Loved the film, but just a little confused by those couple things. Maybe the trranslation was poor.

That was his former home(from the back) which he had to sell to get the money. Ryu probably wanted revenge for killing his GF he already knew where he lived
But how did the cop know that Ryu's empty apartment was of any relevance to the father in the first place?

Thanks for this, it was a big help. That thread clears it up, the cops got the license plate number from the handicapped (or cerebral palsy?) kid at the river. Which they would have used to find the apartment.
