Sequel Idea

Although the chances of a sequel are slim, my idea is this: We start not so long after Willard left off, with him in the asylum, and he starts to read about major massacres of innocent people commenced by swarms of rats, led by a very large rat, the size of a small dog, nicknamed by the press "Ben." Almost sure that Ben has returned from the dead, (He's wrong, the name and size of the rat is just a coincidence.) Willard excapes from the asylum to kill Ben and his army, even if it seemingly kills him. Then follow the storyline of Ben (1972), with the whole thing with the boy befriending Ben. But Willard is already around, and he knows this, and he begs the boy to give him Ben, just so he can make sure that he finally got his man (Or Rat, in this case.) But the boy hides him, and teaches Willard that there is still good, even in bad. (Kind of like the ying-yang symbol)

What do you think?

Crispin Glover as the Joker. Period.

In the end, its very clear that the rats were killing Willard. He died, this is what we were led to believe.

A sequel can get VERY VERY cheesy. But nice thinking.
