Rod's Hair!!!!!!

Y didnt Rod have long hair!!!!!!! ok i no it is a fiction portrayal of real people but still Rod was known in his town for his long hair, trench-coat and boasting of imortality!!!!!! so at least they could have given him long hair!!! also how come he was always taking off his trench-coat? that was his piece of clothing he was known 4 wearing he at least could have had it on in more scenes!
