Unforgivable Mistake

Now, usually I don't mind the typical "the glass is suddenly on a different shelf in the next shot"-type mistakes in movies.

But this movie MADE A BIG DEAL out of this guy being so organized, and then SHOWED HIM MOVING OBJECTS to their 'perfect' places.

The objects simply CAN'T be completely differently set in the next shot - but they are!

When this kind of thing is PART OF THE STORY, then this kind of goof becomes unforgivable. It shouldn't have been accepted.

Just watch that scene near the very beginning again, and see what I mean. This guy goes on his way to talk about how "organized" he is, and then SHOWS it simultaneously by moving the objects on the table to be more 'organized' - and then continues to talk about it in the next shot, which shows us those JUST 'organized' objects being completely messy again (and I think one object was added).

What the heck? How did this slip through? He is MAKING A POINT, and this goof MESSES UP THAT VERY POINT the character is making.

Talk about killing the immersion and suspension of disbelief!

You sound crazy. Have you ever thought it was irony?

It kinda adds to the joke. If he was truly organized, he wouldn't have to organize anything when he says it. Having everything out of place in the next scene makes it a bit funnier.

See that way up in the sky over your head? Its the joke
