What was Jamal saying at the end?

What was Jamal saying at the mosque in the end of the film? Was it arabic or Pashtu? I am assuming he was praying but in general what was he saying?

I think he was saying "allah akbar" meaning God is great in Arabic.

Yes, that's right, he was praying in Arabic - the islamic creed of faith.

He was praying, in Arabic. He was saying what all Muslims say in prayer - two major things, Surah Al-Fatiha and Surah Al-Ikhlas which say things along the lines of 'In the name of God... Master of the Day of Judgement... Guide us on the right path, not the wrong path' and 'God is one... He wasn't born to anyone, neither has he given birth to anyone', respectively.

He kept repeating himself, as if he was having trouble saying it all - perhaps he was distraught?
