This is the second bizarre sexual fantasy I have seen Eva Green in - the other was “Womb.” Incest can be a problem with brothers and sisters in the very best of families and under the best circumstances. My wife and one of her two sisters were subjected to unsuccessful incest attempts by their older brothers. My brother had an incestuous relationship with our younger step sister – and those are the only ones I know about! I cannot comprehend anyone resisting incest if they had a sister that looked like Eva Green who ran around the house naked and slept with them in the nude – unless they were gay. I also think the director over did it with the blood when she lost her virginity. It these days of tampon use by virgins, I think it was a stretch. The scene with the menstrual fluid floating in the tub was going a little too far as well.

I think everybody is different in regards to how much blood there is during their first time. Not to be graphic, but I thought that the scene was fairly realistic.

Just so you know, the use of tampons has absolutely NO relation with how much one bleeds when losing your virginity. None whatsoever. Isabelles bleeding was not at all overdone. Also, not everyone bleeds during their first penetration. How much you bleed, if at all, is completely individual.

I just wanted to clarify that for you since, apparantly, you seem to be a male person with either very limited or obsolete knowledge about the female body.

I don't think they really commit incest. They were a couple of transgressive teenagers and would go nude around each other, kind of flirt with the idea and were unusually, um, close physically. I got the impression they never got to the point of any kind of sex with each other, though. IIRC, haven't seen this movie in about ten years.
