Mrs. Nickleby? She was there. Her part was not as large as in the original novel, but she was shown. Look for: when Ralph Nickleby invites Kate to the theatre at the request of Sir Mulberry Hawks. Mrs. Nickleby goes to the play and sits in one theatre box while Hawks tries to seduce her daughter in the adjoining box.

When Nicholas arrives back in London with Smike, she is there to meet Smike, along with her landlady, Miss La Creevy. She is also with the family when Kate is introduced to Frank Cheeryble and when Nicholas brings home the paintings he has purchased from Madaleine.

As I said, her part is not large, but she is on the periphery of the story.
