I have to disagree with Mike Jasik

Spike Lee doesn't take Jim off the hook for the balcony incident at all. He intercuts Jim's explanation of events with the interview with the alleged victim, Eva Marie Bohn-Chin, in which she gives a totally different story. And he doesn't seem to have given Jim a chance to view the Bohn-Chin footage because he doesn't directly comment on it, just asserting that she agreed with his version of events, which she obviously doesn't. It would be interesting to hear what Jim had to say about this film and the way Lee handled that issue.
