Episode 2 ... lost it's way

This started out to be a very good documentary about the Japanese in WW2. We all have wondered where these bloodthirsty warmongers came from. More so we all need to be educated as to the events in China throughout the 30's ... and the first episode addressed those issues very well.

But the second episode??? It really felt to me like it was all over the place and continued the story in a very haphazard fashion. Almost like it did not really know what story it wanted to tell. More so it was filled with all sorts of non-sequiturs. Anyone else sense this?
