Once I rammed a Wraith tank with a ghost and bailed out and landed on the tanks turret as a fuel rod gun blast destroyed the ghost. Then I destroyed the tank with shot gun blasts as it was unable to target a cyborg sitting on the top of its turret while the tanks body shieled me from Hunters FRG blasts. It felt like being an action hero.
Anyone else have Halo stories to share ?
During Silent Cartographer, when I was heading topside near the huge shaft for extraction I came across a zealot with sword. I ran to the ledge shooting my assault rifle, but the sword was too close. It attacked as I strafed, like a miracle it missed me! I quickly I gave him a friendly push with my rifle's back and smiled as the bastard fell into the depths of Halo.

I was driving this warthog and I rammed a ghost, we both flew up in the air, I bailed out, somehow landed on the ghost which had landed topside, shot the heck out of the driver and got in and speeded away, whilst the marines in the warthog died as it fell on the ground.
Grunt: We're all gonna die, well at least I'm not sober

I drove the warthog up the narrow path in "silent cartographer", it took me about 10 minutes to get between the rock and tree and I killed the other two marines in the warthog. Getting out was much easier and I didn't kill anyone.

Anyway, on Legendary I had saved ALL my marines and did the trick to get the reinforcements - so a full compliment went up to Covie ship. Once there I snipe killed the first three invisible Swords then grenade tagged the fourth while reloading - snipe killed the fifth and then got tagged by a G** D*MNED Grunt ... after that I held my controller for a few minutes before skipping the rest of the chapter so I never 'officially' beat ALL chapters on Legendary (solo) though I did in Halo 2 and am working on it in Halo 3.
