For me they rank from best to worst:

1) Final Destination 2 - I wish I'd seen this on the big screen. Everything about the highway pile up is jaw dropping, but particularly the sound design. Definitely the best one.

2) Final Destination 5 - The bridge collapse was pretty spectacular at the time with a lot of very inventive deaths.

3) Final Destination 3 - The roller coaster premonition was okay, nothing to special

4) Final Destination 1 - This was the first entry of the series and at the time it was amazing because I couldn't believe everyone was dying such an extended death in a plane explosion. But its impact diminishes upon repeat viewings.

5) Final Destination 4 - The Nascar premonition simply didn't work for me. I didn't like it at all.

2 is definitely the best. I saw it back when it released and it was such an awesome spectacle while also being completely hilarious. I had high expectations for Part 3 based off this one, but the pivot back to the original directors fell flat to me. They should have kept rolling with the director from part 2, whos background was a 2nd unit director, primarily directing action scenes....and it shows with the highway pile up

This used to be my go-to reference movie for my home theater. I have front projection, but as impressive as that is to most people who see it, the sound design during the pile up was top notch. Completely immersive.

When I wanted to show off the theater to family and friends, that scene was first in line.
