The critics bashed it and the friend I went to see it with when it came out hated it, but I just loved it! Even bought the DVD the day it came out (which I rarely do.)
So happy to see Sarah Paulson in Studio 60, as I loved her in this, although I admit it took me a bit to recognize her with blonde hair! LOL.

No, you are not the only one who loved this film. I adore Ewan and I loved him in this humorous film. I like Renee also, and I thought they worked well together. I loved the style and pace of the film, the clothes, the time period, and everything about the movie. I also loved that Ewan played two different characters, and did it so well. I thought the song and dance at the end was excelent. I don't know why this movie got such a bad bashing. I definitely loved it. I am looking forward to Ewan and Renee in "Miss Potter"

I think this movie is fantastic! I caught a few minutes of it on TV in the middle of the night a couple of months ago, but I quickly realized that it was a movie I really wanted to see properly so I changed it and swore I'd rent it. Then I haven't rented anything is ages but I was doing some Christmas shopping and saw the DVD for ten bucks so I got it, and I am so glad I did because it is awesome!!
shareHmm, watching this now, looks like the critics where right. The old Doris Day/Rock Hudson comedies are a guilty pleasure of mine, and the idea of spoofing them seems good, but this isn't working for me. Think I'll flick over and watch Speed for the fifth time.....

was so happy, I saw this movie on HBO about 3 or 4 years ago, and I was just
so happy that I was able to find it anywhere, and at a good price too. ($4.50).
I heard that it was premiering on the Oxygen channel this weekend, and I don't
think that I was able to see it. But now that I have it on DVD, I don't have
to worry about missing it on tv.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. It was on tv one saturday evening and I decided to give it a chance since I like both René and Ewan, and I really really liked this movie.
I LOVE this movie and I also bought the DVD, which I rarely do too. It's just sooo hilarious and clever. I've seen it about 10 times and it gets better each time! and Ewan's amazing
