Geez, give me a break! OK, you have a major star like Jeff Daniels in the movie, yet, he has next to no camera time in the first half of the movie. Oh yeah, you also have an unknown murderer, who is a mystery. Hmmmmm, Jeff Daniels is major star, unknown killer, Daniels does not seem to be doing anything in the first half of the movie. Could it be!!!!??? I did not think they made such obvious stories anymore. I mean, back in the 1970's, maybe, but still? I love Eastwood, but, geez.

I meant Daniels (quite a compliment to Mr. Daniels). Perhaps if Bridges had been in it, it might have been decent? Nah, nobody could have saved this terd.

The "ten ring" is the circular area on a target at a shooting range, centered on the heart. Eastwood's character refers to it earlier in the movie, just after the doctor has examined him.
