Terribly Disappointing **SPOILERS**
I thought the way this movie slaughtered the book was horrible. First of all, I was excited by the prospect of a movie made from the book, but then they ripped it apart with so called "plot twists" and bad casting dexicions. I mean Clint Eastwood as Terry McCaleb? That was such a bad casting job that in "A Darkness More Than Night", Harry Bosch pokes fun at the idea of Eastwood playing McCaleb. But what really made me mad was the story. EVERYTHING changed. In the book, I thought the hypnotism part was great. In the movie, why not just skip that and change the bad guy to his next door neighbor? Great idea, right? And since when are crimes solved by looking at peoples shoes? That's how you cheat in 7-Up. I hated this movie, and I will think twice before watching another Clint Eastwood movie.
