There were a couple of country-style songs that were played throughout the movie. I can remember one when the Shane and his grandfather were leaving the Reservation, one that Shane's grandfather was singing in the car with the hitchhiker, and also when Shane was chasing that cow.
Do you who sang them, what they're called? I think it's by the same person. They're not included in the soundtrack which is mainly mood music.

hey im not sure...but i believe the artist is Buddy Red Bow...my grandfather used to listen to him before he passed into the next world.
