How relevant is 60 Minutes (the Australian version) in 2015?
Judging from the near silence on this board (only 3 threads before this) I do wonder. Back in the 80s and 90s, mention 60 Minutes - the Australian version (e.g. "you don't want 60 Minutes finding out about this") would send shudders and the shredder in motion (!). But really, I don't think it has the resonance now except for people in the 60-70 demographic (who would have been in their 30s when they first watched it when it debuted in 1979) which is hardly the key demographic networks desperately seek, with respect to the elderly of course.
Now with so many news outlets and The Voice being screened in the 60 Minutes timeslot, I do wonder if saying "60 Minutes" still causes the younger generation to quake in their boots.
