Will this game work on Windows XP??

i seriously want to buy this game, (ill probably buy it on Ebay) but i just want to be sure...will it work on Windows XP??? please tell me i am so anxious to get this game/

I always had trouble getting it to work in XP.Oddly, it works well in Vista but the cut scenes wont play(Important to the story).

It may work for you in XP since all machines are different.
There are websites that explain how to get it to work in XP.I never had any luck on two XP machines going that way.Its all hit and miss with different machines even though they all run XP.

Get the game anyway.You may have better luck.Its excellent beyond words.I bought a cheap Windows 98 machine just to play this game properly!

'Bioshock' did not come close to 'SS2' even with the fancy graphics.Not close.

If you do get it, make sure you download the 'Rebirth' Mod.Makes the graphics much better.

P.s. Was "I kick ass for the Lord" from 'Dead Alive'?

go to strange bedfellows . com with their free tools, "SS2tool" and "mod manager" you can have this game running flawlessly on XP or Vista in under 10 minutes!

The game has recently been legitimately released on GOG.com. Pick up a copy for $10 and find one of the many modding guides. Enjoy!

This game is on Steam now, and it is optimized to work on newer systems. If you want to buy it, I recommend getting it through there. (steam is free to download)
