First system shock topic!

I actually never played this game but played the sequel several times through. Is this game freeware by now?

Hey there! Yeah, pity there are no more topics here. This is pretty much my favourite game ever (well, second favourite... after X-COM: UFO Defense). Anyway... No, it's not freeware. But I'm sure you can download it from an abandonware site somewhere. Or maybe find a copy on eBay.

You know... I really didn't like the second Shock game. Which is weird, seeing as I loved the first, and Deus Ex, and Thief... But nope, a lot of things annoyed me about the sequel. The original System Shock however, is damn near perfect.

I have to agree 2nd game wasn't even close to first one. I still remember lightsabre fight on antigrav shoes against Eduard Diego. For me System Shock is the best game ever made.

Goddammit!!! This just sold on ebay for 10 bucks (still sealed) and I was too late to find out!

(Great game BTW. Remember that severed head you had to use to get past the retina-scanner? Ewwwwww!)
