'The shape of the things' vs. 'In the company of men'
Just watched "The shape of the things", while I watched "In the company of men" several years ago. When I watched the latter, I remember I asked if that was a film about the wickedness of males and I was told just to watch "The shape of the things".
So, should it be seen as the "female equivalent", a sort of answer to "In the company of men" by the same director?
Nevertheless, I find "In the company of men" much more disturbing, because Chad's cruelty seems to be free, while Evelyn says she did what she did in the name of "art".
