Anyone else wish they had an Evelyn in their life?
I know she was dishonest, but she undeniably improved Adam and his life. He was happier and more self-confident after what she did.

No, you don't want an Evelyn in your life. What she did was humiliating beyond belief.
What you actually want is a friend that is close enough to you to like/love you for who you are and help make you a better person. This close friend will help you be more confident and perhaps even give you the makeover you truly need to improve yourself.
But that person in your life could do the positive things she did without the drastically negative part added on.

I had an Evelyn in my life. I wish that I had hadn't been through this experience. Hell in fact I sat wondering if my Evelyn had watched this movie a few years before meeting me and doing almost the exact same thing to me. The funny thing is the truth, while it was fake to her, it was real to me. I felt like I was on top of the world when I was with my Evelyn but in the end it didn't improve jack, it just hurt a 1,000x worse than if she would of just rejected me in the first place. It's been almost seven years and it still occasionally hurts when I think about that time in my life.
