Ethics


Her project would never pass ethics review -- required for all projects involving humans as subjects in research in North America and any country that is a signatory to the convention on the ethical treatment in research. Even though this is a artistic project, it would require an ethics review because it involves a violation of the principle of informed consent.

So she would fail, and her faulty advisor would be disciplined, possibly even fired, for not ensuring that she had all the required paper work for approval before beginning her project.

Discuss.

Maybe she lied to their faculty advisors, and said Adam agrees with this "social experiment" (that's what is to me, not art). Of course she would fail.
Nobody went to see her installation!

I'm not from USA, but here in my third-world southamerican country, she would fail BIG and maybe even sent to the University's psychiatrist.

she admits she took the risk that he could sue. I don't think she actually expected an A, that was probably a joke when she said "until I get my grade"
