Awkward People Behaving Awkwardly

For most of the film I was a little bit bored and not really sure what they were trying to say. I saw adults behaving like clumsy teenagers and was wondering if that was the point - some kind of a joke about how we perceive relationships and behaviour.

Then we came to the exhibition and I cringed in to myself when I realised what was happening. And the silly thing is I'm not sure if what we saw was
(1) Art
(2) A damaged sociopath seeking revenge for past hurt
(3) A comment on how badly people can treat each other, deliberately or accidentally
(4) A cold blooded experiment in manipulating someone
(5) Some or all of the above

The last 20% or so of the film pulled my rating up a little - because it was suddenly interesting - but I don't think I'll be watching it again.

I have always believed in the kindness of strangers
