...that this Turkey was stillborn. Like his BARON MUNCHAUSEN only Terry Gilliam was really interested in seeing it. In fact that goes for most of his projects, which cost alot but don't show much of a return on investment. Thank God he did not get his hands on HARRY POTTER. He would have run it into the ground, overspending and getting in I.L.M.s' way. Like they need his advice how to do SFX, LOL!

I agree with the OP! from what I saw, it looked LAME! I couldn't make out the 20th Century - Johny Depp angle....he was a modern guy back in the 1600's Spain?

Yes, he was loving the footage of the giants, but it was embarrassing.
The film really is coming now, 2018, but hopefully with none of the original film's elements.
It says in the trivia that the original screenplay was handed over to the investors, after the production was liquidated, so unless they bought it back they'd have had to start from scratch, hopefully.
Johnny Depp and Ewan Macgregor would be very annoying. The Don Quixote character is just a nutter too, from what I can tell - unappealing.
