Sure, he's an old guy, but I am surprised by his lack of inclusion on the soundtrack, and it has nothing to do with his reputation as the "Father of Surf Guitar." Listen to "Tribal Thunder." It rocks, it's powerful, and it sounds like it was recorded by somebody in their twenties.

I'm sure Quentin Tarantino would feel the same way since he's a big fan. You don't have to be young to be hip.
