shareThis takes the Endless Summer series to a whole new level. Because of the way technology has changed (helicopters, jet skis, tow-in surfing, etc), both the surfing itself, and the angles used to film it, completely outdo the first two films. The cinematography is beautiful, and it's a rush just to watch these guys surfing waves higher than 60 feet. It also keeps the humor and lightheartedness of the earlier films, explores remote or unlikely surf spots, gives a look at the new hydrofoil boards, and works as a celebration of surfing in general.

Some more interesting shots. More locals, more surfers. *BIG* waves. Both are very good surf movies... I don't know if there could be too many good surf movies... so many untold stories.
shareEssentially if you liked the 2 Endless Summer movies, you will like this movie.
I preferred the Endless Summer movies (1 over 2) but I suppose my nostalgia bias for long-gone times is showing.
