I sent a message to IMDB telling them about this and here is the goof printed:

Errors in geography: At the beginning of the movie, before Calvin (Bow Wow) plays for the Knights, the Knights are playing the Raptors at the Staples Center. At the end of the movie, they play them again at the Staples Center. This is impossible considering each NBA team plays each NBA team two times in regular season, once on their home court, once at the other teams home court. The last game against the Raptors should be set in Toronto, Ontario at the Air Canada Center.

If each team is played twice that would equal 60 games for each teambut they play 82 games so it's entirely possible to play a team twice at home

Just to clear this out for you, in the NBA there is the Western and Eastern Conference. The Western Conference teams play the teams in the East twice, but the teams in their conference three or four times. I'm not sure if this makes sense or if this is helping you understand the NBA.

The Knights were a west coast team. Toronto is in the East.

Here's the thing though: The Knights are fictional, so is this movie, and therefore using the same arena twice is just good for business. Otherwise, they'd have to ship the crew to the other facility, and set up all over again, doubling production costs! All for making the movie more realistic for its audience of 8 and 10 year olds? No need.
