As an old timer (50+) and not a basketball fan at all, I really enjoyed this movie. Surprisingly, I AM familiar with Bow and actually have some CD's with him in featured songs. He and Lil' Romeo will survive as they grow older (both have now dropped the "Lil'"). I think he is very talented young actor and a damn good basketball player. I love little moments in movies that mean nothing but are hysterical to watch. This movie has one: When Eugene Levy gets hit in the face with the "hand" and falls into the mascot knocking him down stopped the movie for me so that I could rewatch it 3 more times. 6/10

yea im not a fan of basketball either but this movie wasnt bad. surprisingly bow wow can act. and a note to david howard is it really neccessary to write you are an old timer in every message board.

As another "old timer" (50+), I appreciate that he includes that information in his posts. That way I know I'm not reading the critique of a teenager, which is usually very different from mine. We old timers view movies in a very different light than kids, so it's nice to get their perspective. IMDB is a notorious hangout for kids and teens, so when an older adult posts, we like to know it. Keep it up, DH.

I liked this movie I though I was going to hate it but it turned out I loved it. I liked Bow Wow. He wasn't a great actor but he gave it his all. I gave it a 6 which is good for me as a comedy
