Ruined Bow Wow's career?

Does anyone else think that maybe starring in this movie was a bad move for "hardcore, gansta" young rapper Lil Bow Wow. I just dont think starring in a kid's movie was the best way of potraying Lil Bow Wow as the next Snoop Dogg.

i don't really think so.
Bow is a kid, and this is most definately a kids movie.
I personally found the story line painfully predictable with no surprises whatsoever. But I'm sure for the average kid, they'll get a kick out of it.
I gave it a 6/10. I'd have given it higher if there was the slightest hint of imagination to the story-line.

I know the original post is 7 years old, but as 12 year old when the movie was released I liked it a lot

I would never consider Bow wow hardcore or gangsta ever. I think that any move he makes in movies or in music is a bad one. People I know don't want to see him act or go about with his wuss crap rap career. Softcore Bow wow also can't play basketball, all of his pop crossovers would be shattered by any roughneck streetballer. If for any reason someone thinks he looks pretty good playing ball in real life, its because his opponent surrendered their skills in order to give Bow wow a big break in front of the camera.

And who ever said Bow Wow was "Hardcore" ? Bow Wow doesn't even consider himself "Hardcore".

reply

No. This movie kicked off Bow Wow's career.
