The sound and prop guys should be fired.

Did the guns seem poorley done in the movie to anyone else?

I fealt the movie had a very "real" feeling to it, like if nobody knew any of the actors it could come off as a real documantry, but then the guns...wooow, well I mean, they did look real, but thats its.

The noise and sounds the guns made, the recoil all so fake, it was like they were shooting bb-guns, even the stance the guys had when fireing the guns didn't look right.

extremly bad job on that aspect of the movie.

I still loved it, and found it very interesting and original to...but man, baaaaaaad prop usage.

It was low budget, which is I think, a reason for the cheap looking guns/props.
This can be forgiven as long as the plot/dialogue/acting hold up, and in this case I believe it has.

Another thing though, this film could never come off as being real to anyone with brains. Not that it isn't interesting and well done. :)

Record gunfire in the open with a prosumer camcorder...it will sound like it did in this movie, dull. Gunfire in Hollywood films is processed and altered to sound like what we now expect every time we hear it.
