in my opinion they were all trying to reach marcott which means that they all wanted to live but at the end only the daugher got to see marcott because shes the only one who survived the car accident, for me they were all in a place between life and death and if you notice they die after confessing something like the bf he wanted to propose marion, the son doing drugs, the wife cheating ln her husband and the father had his list of things he wanted to do to be a cooler dad, after they finally said it, they could moved on and die
