'Okay, we'll see you there honey' (clue thashe survived and they didn't)


When she gets out of the car in the beginning and says she'll walk. The father says okay, we'll see you there honey. Then listen to the sad music. The father really meant that they'll see her (in death) when she gets there. Then they drive off and you see her walking "alone". Everything after this was her refusing to admit to herself that they were dead and she was still alive. Sort of sad.

Old thread but just rewatched this after 12 years ago when I first saw this.

That part is weird at first if you don't know what the movie is about, like why would they leave their daughter to walk alone in the dark? But it makes sense afterwards.
