Best part of the movie was...*SPOILERS*
When the brother got killed. This was a great film and well done, but the brother was quite possibly one of the most annoying characters ever on film. I've never seen such a bad attempt at an actor trying to pretend to be "cool."
Other than that, great little movie. Don't know why there is even a debate about what happened, because it's pretty %*^$ing obvious they were all in a purgatory state and only the daughter came out of it. It's the same plot as Dead Man, Jacob's Ladder, Triangle, and Carnival of Souls. For those who know the plot, don't even bother debating it with those who are claiming it was a dream or some other bs, it's a waste of your time. Sometimes people just want to debate a movie beyond the director's intention, and there is nothing more annoying than that. If a director leaves an ending open then it's totally great to debate it, but when a plot is as clear cut as this one, and the director's even state on the commentary what the plot is about it's crazy that people want to say otherwise. That would be like telling Da Vinci his Mona Lisa is actually a man. When the artist themself spells it out for you, don't be a jackass and try and tell them different, it's their work for $)(%'s sake. Anyway, great movie, and did something new and original with the whole purgatory plot device.
