Wilpon: Chip Kelly is no genus, you have to win something to be called genus , Bill Walsh is a genus, Chip Kelly is not a genus except by a million people in our business who proclaim him as one.
Tony: He has to remember that the SF 49ers are terrible, they were DFL in offense this year, they were 32nd, they have no defense, they have no receivers, all they have is the ghost of Colin Kapernick, which probably made the job attractive to Chip Kelly.
Wilpon: Let me ask you, how is he going to get along with the boss of all things , Trent Balky the GM.
Tony: He is going to have to, this is his last chance.
Wilpon: He doesnt think its a players league, Like college coaches he thinks its about control at the college level

Wilpn; the giants have hired Bob Mcadoo, which means the Giants are changing nothing. Mcadoo is a good young coach but he has not reached GENUIS sytatus, what do you think of the hire?
Tony: it is surprising to me, because i thought that the NewYork Giant franchise was a start destination. The name that first surfaced was Sean Payton, a big name guy and even John Gruden, sio i am surprised.
Wilpon: he is 38 years old, the 2nd youngest coach in the league, they fired Tom Coughlin, and kept everybody us.

Walsh kicked big field goals in the cold in that game, the reason why they were in the game was because of him and the reason they lost was because of you, so they neutralize each other, he can survive this
What do you think of Chip Kelly and Colin Kapernick
Chip likes reflexive recall in his Quarterbacks , if you're going to go extra fast in the pros, you not only have to have a deep library, but whatever you have must be embedded in your mind , its reflexive, it comes up without even thinking about it. For Colin to be that type of player he has to get in the classroom and be serious about this and Chips serious about this , so Colin is going to have to do some serious school work in the next years.
