Woz this the T.V. series that Bryan May, from Queen, composed & sung the soundtrack for, in its English incantation?

A slightly late reply this - Brian May just covered the original soundtrack for Star Fleet; the original music in the series was composed by Paul Bliss.

Brian May indeed covered it and was admittedly a fan of the series. You can find his version on it on the mini-LP "Star Fleet Project." It also features Eddie Van Halen (of Van Halen) and Alan Gratzer of REO Speedwagon, if that interests anyone.
