Ending- A little too sentimental?

I managed to get hold of a set of discs with the whole series on. It has brought back many fond memories of Saturday mornings. And unlike some shows that don't live up to the memories of a child, this was just as good as I remembered. My only gripe was the ending.

SPOILERS!

If F-01 had God like powers to do anything, then why didn't she bring back Captain Carter and Doctor Benn from the dead as well. Dai-X was destroyed in the final battle, but she brought the crew of that back to life. It left a lump in my throat- the assassination/heroic sacrifice of Doctor Benn and the mercy killing of Captain Carter. Shiro, Lee and Hercules had just as meaningful deaths, embarking on a last ditch suicide mission to buy Lamia enough time to 'change'. Yet that seemed a little cheapened by their resurrection.

I am eager to hear any other views on this?

I wish I could watch this again. I don't remember anything about it anymore...
Where can this be found?

I got my set off the british ebay. And I remember seeing more on there just a few weeks ago. Type Star Fleet into the search engine for buying and it will tell you if there are any on there, but if their aern't keep checking back, I am sure they will be soon.

My apologies for the delay in replying. I gave up a long time ago checking this page regularly as it is not exactly popular.

I haven't seen all of them yet. Taking my time! But I have a four disc version of the whole series. The quality is not to the standard of a normal DVD (well it is a pirate after all)! But it is very watchable and the sound is good. I suppose if you imagine how it would have appeared back in the early eighties on television. The sound and picture are like that.

I hope this helps.
