Difference in Pilot on DVD

At the start when we first see Wendy, I remember the music on TV being Joan Jett's version of Crimson and Clover, but it was changed on the DVD. Anyone know why exactly?

This is just conjecture, but often when music is changed for DVDs it means they couldn't get the rights to the original song. This happened with Quantum Leap. The entities behind the show couldn't obtain the rights to put it on the DVD and so they replaced it.

Thanks. Yeah that's what I was thinking also. Maybe FOX figures they won't be too much money from the DVDs anyway and replaced the music to get more profit instead of spending.
