QUESTION about fascist symbol

Does anyone know where the symbol used by the Belgian fascists comes from? I'm unable to tell if this is an authentic insignia from pre-war Belgium or a Greenaway invention.
My initial assumption was that Greenaway used this as a fresh analogue for the swastika, but I've since come to doubt that.

almost sure it is not a real one
in the film it loks like a fox (triangular head) for a moment
for Belgian fascist symbol, the REX national catholic groups (followers of Leon Degrelle) used different symbols.
