Movies with same director

One comment referred to 'Jack's Back' (1988) with the same director/writer. Like 'The Stickup' it gave James Spader the chance to do what he does so well -make you wonder just what the character will do next and whether or not he's on the side of the angels.

Spader was in another Rowdy Herrington movie in 2003, "I Witness", though this time he wasn't the lead and Herrington didn't write it. Again the character was enigmatic - I wasn't sure until almost the final reel whether he would turn out to be the baddie.

Plus, I don't think Spader has worked with any other director more than once. I noted down the names of the directors of his films when I was trying to make sure I didn't buy ones with the right name that were the wrong film, eg Crash, Driftwood, Slow Burn, Mannequin and even this one.

I am assuming that he and Herrington must get along okay. Plus Herrington hired Spader's girlfriend/wife (not sure of precise chronology but she is listed under her maiden name) as art director on Jack's Back.
