great movie
i really gotta says this, for a low budget movie this one is as good as low budget can be. better than most high budget, hollywood star movies!

It is FANTASTIC! Don't read the ignorant reviews on this site. The movie has a memento-esque feeling and does a great job. Spader is awesome.
shareI agree, it is great. Maybe a little too reliant on coincidence (cash till incident) and a bit confusing in terms of indicating flashbacks. But makes up for it by having people who don't feel the need to ensure their attackers are stone dead, only incapacitated. Not that it is preachy about it.
NB I do not generally like films with car chases or bank robberies but I love this one.
Enjoyed this movie from beginning to end. An interesting point to note - Spader's co-star in the movie, Leslie Stefanson, he is now reportedly engaged to her (December 2005). They 'met on the set' of this movie and have been together ever since - they make an attractive couple, agreed, and I am a little jealous now ;-) . Thumbs up to Spader for holding his previous 17 year marriage together, and for providing us with many years film entertainment!
shareIt's not one of the easiest movies to get on DVD so maybe that's why it doesn't get the attention it should. It gives Spader the opportunity to play the kind of offbeat role that he's so good at and the supporting cast were great.
It's one of my favourite Spader movies.
I was pleasantly surprised by how terrific this film was. A compelling story with some good plot twists, excellent performance from James Spader (as usual), and a number of really exciting action sequences (really enjoyed the opening car chase and the closing shootout).

Coz lifes too short to listen to Madlib
This is one of Spader's best movies. I love that name Spader. Anyways, the plot twists were very unique and definitely surprised me. I thought it was great, alot better than 'The Rachel Papers.' I liked the chemistry between real life lovers Stefanson and Spader. It di have a few faults, for me it didn't feel so much like a movie. The supporting cast was a bit off and several goofs, an audio goof when black cop shoots his shotgun and no sound and when Spaz is shot, he didn't even get shot, there wasn't any sound or sparks coming from the gun. I didn't like the music either that much. But minus the few obvious goofs, it really is a great movie. All Spader fans should own this.
