Briliant

I think this documentary is one of the best i have seen. I hope that one day Richard Stanley gets the funding to complete it. The film included in the Subversive cinema dvd of Dust Devil is acording to Stanley a work in progress.
Richard Stanley is a briliant director. Can somebothy give this man money so he cane make more films!

The music at the end of the film that sounds like a childrens choir. What is the name of that song ?

I agree. A very haunting semidocumentary of the horror of both warped Nazi thinking and the world of mysticism. The music as well as the films playing in the background were extremely effective as was listening to the voices of the interviewees.

Well worth watching for anyone who has an interest in these topics.

Haunting is the right word. Every time I watch that film I get lost in it like
a dream...After a while it ceases to be a moving two dimensional image and becomes a living, breathing entity...Beautiful.

This is a very hauntingly sad and strange documentary which really sticks in your head long after you see it. The odd and tragic life of Otto Rahn makes for a rich subject for the documentary to explore. Immo Horn's stunningly gorgeous cinematography and Simon Boswell's beautifully eerie score add substantially to the overall hypnotic power of this remarkable one-of-a-kind film.

Q: What's the biggest room in the world? A: The room for improvement.

A fund should be created to put Stanley back on the road to make more research and continue this wonderful film.

This film should be at least twice as long.

Just watched it again today... though Wewelsburg has been used in so many contemporary post Da Vinci Code thrillers it's it's good to get some facts from Mr Stanley. Though it looks like he's turned back to fictional cinematic stories... maybe one day he'll finish this intiguing film.
