there are a cople of things that confused me if you dont mind can you answer my questions
1)In the last episode cougar died right
2)Who won the fight ryuho or kazuma
3)and why did they show a somewhat older version of kanamay

BTW, on the English dub, notice that Cougar got BOTH Kazama's and Mimori's names right?
Yeah, he got them right, he also got Mimori's right when he was about to fight Mujo.
1. I think Cougar died, unless he just fell asleep which would be a little odd. You can see his hand fall to the side of the chair and hang there after hes done talking. Also, his talk was a little dramatic, but it was the final ep. so I can see why.
2. I honestly believe Kazuma won, but neither of them died.(You see them trash talking some unknown enemy after the fight. Which i believe was mainlanders.)
3. I think they just showed Kanami a little older, and she just went on with her little annoying "dream talk".
Even though I like Kanami, though not her english voice.
1. Cougar's death and revival bothers me. He controls time. No. Speed. I'm assuming that he put his body in "slow motion", delaying his death.
2. I'd say it's a draw. Put two stubborn headed men in the same room and they'll fight until they're both dead.
3. Showing Kanami older is implying that the fight continued for years.
1> Either he died or was just extremely exhausted, up until his arm fell he seemed to be fine and took the time to start reading the book on the table. So he may or may not have. Just my opinion.
2> I think it was a tie and Kazuma just put his arm up the way he did just to gloat over Ryuho, probably.
3> It was years later that Kanami was talking about Kazuma and Ryuho. During the last part where it shows the two of them again, you can't really tell they've aged or time has passed except that Ryuho had his hair cut short in the fight with Kazuma and then he was shown with it grown down to his shoulders.

2. its obvious Kazuma won....they were both exhausted....Kazuma-the shellbullet put his arm up...he won....obviously ryyho could not

1. it wasn't stated explicitly, but it is very very heavily implied that cougar died.
2. kazuma won. he's the one who consistently showed the will to fight on and drive through any obstacle and pain throughout the entire series, and so it was natural for him to win a battle between two equally powerful opponents. he had that extra little bit of drive to get his fist into the air and do his classic clench.
3. they showed the older version of her to show the passage of time.
great show, one of my all time favorite anime's of all time.
